DerbyCross July 2019

We’re holding a DerbyCross on Saturday July 20!

What’s a DerbyCross, you ask? It’s a combination of cross country and show jumping, all rolled in to one course.  DerbyCross is a great learning opportunity for horses and riders looking to gain experience or just have a good time! The course combines elements of show jumping and cross-country and includes a water jump and ditches. The course will not be judged or timed.

We’re offering Introductory, Beginner Novice, and Novice divisions.  Each round is $40.  You may do multiple rounds, in multiple divisions or in the same division.

Online entries have closed. Contact competition@fairhillinternational.com  directly for late entries as space allows.

Ride Times are posted! If you DO NOT have two x’s in the far right columns, you still owe a release (linked here) and/or a Coggins.  Either send them ahead of time, or bring them with you on Saturday.  You cannot ride without them.

NOTE: Parking and registration is in the Gallaher Road parking lot (where we park for XC schoolings). GPS address:  750 Gallaher Road, Fair Hill, MD  21921
The Cecil County Fair is occurring on Saturday, so allow for traffic delays. For those coming from the East, the road construction traffic light, at the one way bridge may get backed up. For those coming from the North or West, to avoid the Fair parking, use the entrance from Big Elk Chapel Road. From the intersection of 273 & 213, take 213 South, turn left onto Big Elk Chapel, left into the lower gate of the parking field.  See map below to help you navigate.
